Statement

My practice moves between sound-light installation, generative and real-time systems, and immersive audiovisual experience. It emerges from a growing interest in the materials, structures and systems that are usually hidden, overlooked or taken for granted - mechanical, electronic, computational or spatial. I'm drawn to making them present, legible and perceptible.

Rather than treating technology only as a tool, I treat it as a subject in itself: something to be listened to, observed and questioned. This runs through the work whether I'm exposing the inner mechanics of a circuit, building a generative system that composes itself in real time, or shaping a space where an audience becomes part of the system they're moving through. What interests me is the same question at different scales: what happens when process, structure and presence take the place of ornament and interface.

Bio

Born in Türkiye, now based in Spain, I'm a new media artist, creative producer and creative technologist. My work moves between sound-light installation, audiovisual and immersive experiences and generative, real-time and interactive systems that explore the material and sonic qualities of technology and make visible what usually remains hidden.

Since 2019, I've been developing a parallel practice as one half of generative art duo dist.cs, working with Ilgın İçözü on rule-based generative systems that produce evolving visual and sonic compositions. Our work has been exhibited internationally at Art Basel Miami Beach (with the Tezos Foundation), Proof of People in New York, and in galleries and festivals across Europe, Turkey, and the United States.

I am also a member of Archivo Cero, an interdisciplinary collective researching the intersection of technology and perception through interactive systems and immersive sensory environments - presented most recently as Col·lapse at Bombas Gens, Valencia.

Alongside my artistic practice, I work as a creative producer across live music, installation and audiovisual production. I coordinate teams to produce installations, experiential exhibitions and audiovisual immersive experiences, including brand collaborations and live music gigs. This background shapes how I approach everything I make and produce: from first concept to load-out, you'll find me there start to finish.

I hold a Bachelor's in Arts and Cultural Management from Istanbul Bilgi University, a Master's in Music from Istanbul Technical University (MIAM), and a Master's in Multimedia Creation for Live Shows from LABA Valencia (2025).
